TODAY’S BUZZ TIP | March 6, 2009
I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of all the doom and gloom. With the economy in shambles and tons of people out of work, it’s enough to make anyone want to jump off a bridge. But my attitude is to do just the opposite. Do you have something to celebrate? Well why not do an event? I’m gearing up to put together a major soiree to launch a new footwear showroom complete with artists, high end caterers, lots of booze and tons of fashion insiders. While this will be a fairly large scale affair you can have events of any size. Perhaps just have some cocktails for customers during market week. Or, if you have a new product to push have a party to mark the event in a special, memorable way. And you don’t even need alot of dough to do it. One way to save is to get a liquor sponsor to supply all the drinks and even provide bartending and wait staff. Or you can join forces with another company and host the party together, allowing you to pool resources and share the cost. And by no means do a printed invite. Nowadays an Evite is fine, even for formal affairs.
So lets climb out of the doldrums. After all Spring is almost here!
