TODAY’S BUZZ TIP | July 17, 2009
Okay, back to LinkedIn, xing.com, etc. and there are also those that cater to businesses within particular industries, created so businesses can interact with each other, share ideas, share resources and synergies. It’s a great concept that is changing the way people do business. Within the children’s and fashion industry there is Skout Trade Fair (www.skouttradefair.com). Here’s what one member had to say about Skout:for a second but this time I would like to talk about the industry networking sites that are popping up and really making an impact on small businesses. There are many sites like
Skout Trade Fair well exceeded all my expectations. It defies what is otherwise known as a ‘cut-throat’ industry by providing a platform for collaboration in a non-competitive, supportive and nurturing environment. Personally, it catapulted my company nationally and globally providing recognition amongst it’s peers, such recognition possibly only achievable over a long stretch of time. Opportunities are plentiful, and with a plethora of social network sites available today, STF is innovative, forever emerging and a true leader within the fashion industry globally. It is not a community, it is a family … it feels safe, inviting and there’s plenty of love and support … simply beautiful!
Here are a few other business networking sites with the full list available here www.ceoworld.biz.
Be social, grow your business — in the end social media is a fabulous concept and we’ve only begun to reap its rewards. Sometimes things do start heading in the right direction.
Ciao for now!!
