Another easy way to gain some credibility within your industry and among your peers is to win an award.  Most likely you’ve been approached by some of these organizations that hand out awards to the best companies, best products, etc. within particular sectors.  Within the children’s industry there are quite a few including the iParenting Media Awards (www.iparentingmediaawards.com) and the Earnie Awards for excellence in children’s wear sponsored by Earnshaws Magazine.  Find out more at www.earnshaws.com.

So pat yourself on the back by entering your company in some awards then write a press release about it and tell the world. That’s only if you win of course!
