Happy Friday: Be a Sponsor

TODAY’S BUZZ TIP | August 28, 2009

A great way to gain exposure for your business and products among your target audience is to sponsor events in your area.  There are tons of event opportunities in every area and if you are involved in your industry then you are familiar with many of them.

For instance, in New York City there are tons of events for kids that I try and get my clients to sponsor.  Sponsorship levels vary widely so you can definitely find one that fits your product niche and budget.  There is the “Biggest Baby Shower” events like the one produced by Big City Moms. You can also find events on the Go City Kids (www.gocitykids.com) website and plug in your zip code to find events in your particular area.

There’s also a fantastic event called Baby Loves Disco (www.babylovesdisco.com).  They basically find clubs in major cities and make them kid friendly so it becomes literally a disco for toddlers.  So much fun for both the kids and parents.  And they are now everywhere including most recently in Australia.  Lots of ways to get involved, be it by providing postcards or products in their gift bags, sponsoring the stroller check or crafts area, etc. Just check them out for more details on sponsorship levels and opportunities.

Might as well have some fun while you’re trying to build a buzz!
